Bradley County Schools will host a groundbreaking ceremony at the PIE Innovation Center today. The ceremony will be conducted with an abundance of caution while following all state guidelines. There will be no more than 50 people in attendance and the event will be live-streamed for all of those interested. We are proud to announce Governor Bill Lee, who has supported the initiative since the beginning, will be speaking. Also in attendance will be our state legislators, Mayor Gary Davis, county commissioners, and Bradley County School Board Members.

The event will be live-streamed from Mix 104.1 (Mix Facebook, Mix 104.1 WCLE, and radio) along with Bradley County Schools Facebook Live.

Due to the resurgence of the COVID-19 pandemic and the rise in confirmed coronavirus cases in the local community, Cleveland State Community College has delayed the scheduled appearance and speaking engagement of football legend Archie Manning.

Don Foley, director of CSCC public and media relations, has confirmed Manning’s original on-campus address — scheduled for Aug. 15 — has been moved to March 26, 2021.

Manning is well recognized as the father of two future National Football League Hall of Famers — Peyton and Eli, both of whom are former NFL Super Bowl Most Value Players.

To purchase tickets to the Manning presentation in March, contact the CSCC Foundation Office at 423-473-2262.

Tickets that had already been purchased for the Aug. 15 date will be honored for the newly scheduled event in March.
