The Bradley County Commission met yesterday.

 

 Mayor Gary Davis presented a resolution to the Commission to sell a property on Dalton Pike behind the Fire Department, and what is part of the old Waterville School Property to the SPCA of Bradley County for $150,000. The resolution passed 13-1. 

 

7th District Commissioner, Bill Winters congratulated Bradley County Commission Chairman and Second District Commissioner, Tom Crye, on receiving the Ocoee Region Daughters of the American Revolution Distinguished Citizen Medal. 

 

Several rezoning resolutions were voted on by the Commission. 

 

First, A Resolution to rezone from a Forestry Agricultural Residential District to a General Commercial District for the property located at 5050 Waterlevel Highway passed unanimously. 

 

A Resolution to rezone from a Forestry Agricultural Residential District to a High-Density Residential District for the property located at 1307 Old Alabama Road SW Failed by a vote of 11-3. 

 

It was announced that all Bradley County Government Offices will be Closed: December 22nd, 25th, 29th, and January 1st

 

The Next Meeting of the Bradley County Commission is January 8th at noon
