The Cleveland City Council met yesterday.
The Council declared yesterday as “Piper Fowler Day.” Piper Fowler is the Cleveland High School wrestler that won a World Championship title recently in Turkey. Fowler is 16 years old.
City Manager Joe Fivas gave a report concerning the greenway camera project.
Phase 1 of the project is now complete. The completed area consists of 37 cameras in 19 locations between Kingsway Press Bridge and Greenway Park. Phases 2 and 3 will be completed at the same time, which will cover Raider Drive North to Tinsley Park. Phase 4 is set for the Spring of 2024.
There will be a Grand Opening of the Championship Disc Golf Course at Fletcher Park on Monday, September 25th at 11:00 a.m. Professionals will be there to demonstrate pro disc golf and there will be a tour of the area.
