The Cleveland City Council passed the Two Liquor stores that were tabled from the last meeting, they will be located at 1708 Wildwood Ave and Georgetown Road at Westside Drive.
They also voted on 6 new Stores for licenses, 5 were passed and one, which is slated to be located at 1077 Wildwood Ave, was delayed until the next meeting , due to it being in a flood prone area. They will vote on that one in the next meeting on April 22nd.

On April 6th, Deputies with the Bradley County Sheriff’s Office responded to a local motel to investigate a complaint of a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot.
Deputies made contact with two males in a Mercedes, later identified as Juan Sanchez Jr. and Jimmy Ogle. Deputies observed, in plain view, items commonly used in the sale of narcotics. Upon searching the vehicle, over two pounds of methamphetamine and a loaded handgun were located.
Deputies then made contact with the occupants of room 120, identified as Austin Lee Hill and Lluvia Selene Reyes. Reyes identified herself as the owner of the Toyota Camry which was parked next to the Mercedes. A drug K-9 detected drugs inside the Camry, which was the basis for a search warrant to be obtained. Upon searching the Camry, deputies found methamphetamine and marijuana.
In the hotel room, more methamphetamine and a .22 caliber revolver were located in the room.
The incident led to the arrest of Jimmy Ogle, Juan Sanchez Jr., Austin Lee Hill, and Lluvia Selene Reyes on drug related charges and all were transported to the Bradley County Justice Center.
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigations is also assisting in the investigation.

More than 300 Durham School Services bus drivers will soon be out of a job.
Hamilton county school board members voted to hire First Student Inc. last month, which ended their contract with Durham School Services.
The company will officially cut ties with those employees on June 30, 2019, according to a layoff notice from Durham. The company submitted it to the state on Monday.
Hamilton County Schools spokesperson Tim Hensley tells Channel 3, First Student officials will meet with Durham bus drivers in a few weeks to discuss employment options, and possibly begin the application process. He says more information will be posted online soon.
