From News 12: We generally tell you when the Tennessee Comptrollers find problems when they audit state institutions.
But today, they are honoring the nine counties that got a completely clean audit last year.
McMinn is one of the clean counties.
And so is Cumberland County.
Of course, not all findings are illegal in nature.
Most are just recommendations on how the organization could handle their money better.
But these counties didn’t even get any of those notes.
Representatives from each county are being honored today in Gatlinburg.
