From Local 3 News: The Bradley County Government is preparing their community for a Household Hazardous Waste Day on Saturday, March 23.
From 9:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Bradley County Justice Center, the free event will be taking hazardous items to properly dispose of.
That includes:
- Home chemicals: paint strippers, adhesives, cleaners, etc.
- Lawn and garden chemicals: herbicides, pesticides, fertilizers, etc.
- Automative products: coolants, cleaners, started fluids, fuel additives, etc.
They ask that you do NOT bring the following: paint, electronics, medical or infectious waste, explosives, ammunition, radioactive waste, waste from non-household sources.
