Times Free Press- update A shooting in Cleveland took place just after midnight Monday morning at the 2300 block of Blackburn Road at Springbrook Apartments, leaving one dead and another injured. The deceased victim has been identified as 18-year-old Adam Johnson.The other victim, a juvenile, was transported to a local hospital by EMS and is reportedly improving, listed in stable condition. The investigation is ongoing. Times Free Press- A 26-year-old inmate who has escaped twice during the last three months was found hiding in a vacant house in Polk County, Tenn., on Sunday — two days after he fled from Moccasin Bend Health Institute in Chattanooga. Deputies with the Polk County Sheriff’s Office discovered fugitive Dustin Adams inside a home on Isabella Avenue in Copperhill, Tenn., around 10 p.m. Sunday, records show. Channel 3- UPDATE: The water main break off Old Lee Highway has been repaired. The leak left thousands of people without water or low water pressure for hours. Eastside Utility crews spent most of the day installing a new pipe to fix the problem. They’re telling people who were affected to flush their lines with cold water for a few minutes. The cause of the water main break is still unclear. Managers with the company said it could be days or even weeks before they know what happened. Affected residents are in Ooltewah near the Hunter Glen Subdivision and Homewood Subdivision, as well as areas east. Press Release- Bradley County investigators believe they solved a 7-year-old cold case. They’ve arrested Donnie Brantley for the murder of his wife Marsha back in 2009. Her body has never been found, but family members have declared her deceased. The case gained a lot of attention in 2013 when Brantley was charged with his wife’s murder. However, prosecutors eventually dismissed the charges due to lack of evidence. A press-conference will be held on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at 4:00 p.m. inside the Community Room located at the Bradley County Sheriff’s Office. General Steve Crump of the 10th Judicial District Attorney’s Office, Sheriff Eric Watson, and investigators from the Bradley County Sheriff’s Office will be in attendance to provide updates regarding the case. Dennis Epperson has been named the Ocoee Regional Builders Association’s 2016 Builder of the Year. The award was presented at ORBA’s annual installation banquet held Saturday.
