The Bradley County Commission met last night for a work session.
The Commissioners heard from Jeff Cocks of Corporate Network Solutions, the company that will be running and maintaining the county’s new website— Cocks told the Commission the site will now be ADA Compliant, which many small government sites are not.
3rd District Commission, Milan Blake recognized Andy Hunt, the Bradley County Library Director who is retiring on September 30th. Blake read a proclamation from the City and County Mayors declaring yesterday as Andrew Hunt Day in Cleveland and Bradley County honoring his work, improvements, additions, and contributions to our public library.
The Library Board has been working on a replacement for Hunt for several months— Keisha Parks will be named as the new Director. Parks has been with the library for 12 years.
