Arnold Elementary’s Michael Chai receives Principal of the Year Award

The annual awards from the Professional Educators of Tennessee were recently presented to outstanding individuals in the education field.  

The annual awards from the Professional Educators of Tennessee were recently presented to outstanding individuals in the education field.

 

Among the recipients was Michael Chai, the Principal of Arnold Memorial Elementary School, who was honored with the Principal of the Year Award.

 

Chai recently completed his tenth year as the Principal at Arnold Elementary, having joined Cleveland City Schools in 1995 as a staff member of the Extended School Program.

 

Prior to his tenure at Arnold, Chai served as an assistant principal at both Blythe-Bower and Cleveland High School before assuming his current role in 2012.
