Tennessee lawmaker files Articles of Impeachment against President Joe Biden

From WZTV in Nashville: Tennessee U.S. Representative Andy Ogles has submitted Articles of Impeachment against President Joe Biden for “high crimes and misdemeanors.”

Rep. Ogles (R-TN-05) alleges President Biden has “weaponized” his time in office, including his time as Vice President “to shield the business and influence peddling schemes of his family from congressional oversight and public accountability.”

Specifically, Rep. Ogles’ bill notes companies created by family members of President Biden and associates used to “funnel millions of dollars to Biden family members,” and allegations while serving as Vice President in 2016 Biden requested the Ukrainian President fire the prosecutor investigating Burisma Holdings, which son Hunter Biden sat on the board of at the time.

The bill also claims a form filed by the Biden administration which was obtained by a GOP committee this year “reportedly details a bribery scheme in which members of the Biden family, including Joseph Robinette Biden, received $5,000,000 each to assist Burisma Holdings.”

The second Article of Impeachment cites President Biden’s handling of the southern border, claiming his actions -or lackthereof- have “endangered the people of the United States.” Rep. Ogles cites drug seizures at the border and illegal immigrant “encounters” at the border which have resulted in “8 of the 10 highest months ever recorded.”

The bill ends in summary stating “In all of this, Joseph Robinette Biden has acted in a manner contrary to the public trust and subversive of constitutional government, to the great prejudice of the cause of law and justice and to the manifest injury of the people of the United States.”
