The deal keeps a NICU for newborns in the Cleveland area.

 

“Tennova Healthcare – Cleveland has been a birthing destination of choice for families in the Ocoee Region and Tennessee Valley for 70 years,” said Jarrett Millsaps, FACHE, CEO of Tennova Healthcare – Cleveland. “Our Level II NICU has been serving some of our most vulnerable patients for more than ten years now, and this approach to combine our teams of dedicated nurses, neonatologists, and neonatal nurse practitioners reinforces our shared commitment to mothers and families who are looking for high quality birthing options close to home.”

The deal basically combines nurses, neonatologists and neonatal nurse practitioners from the two hospital companies.
