Cleveland City Schools has recognized outstanding novice teachers across its district, as part of the Tennessee Department of Education’s Educator Recognition Program.

 

A statement released by the system yesterday read in part, “These educators, in the early stages of their careers, have showcased remarkable dedication and innovation in fostering student success.”

 

The following teachers have been honored for their exceptional achievements:

– Nikki Brooks at Yates Primary

– Chris Alvarez at Ross Elementary

– Mariah Ellis at Stuart Elementary

– Sammie Eason at Mayfield Elementary

– Jordan Wagers at Cleveland High School

– David Williams at Blythe-Bower Elementary

– Fatima Fernandez at Arnold Memorial Elementary

– Megan Carroll at Cleveland Middle School

 

Megan Carroll, Jordan Wagers, and Chris Alvarez have also been selected as district representatives.
