From The Herald-News: The Rhea County Sheriff’s Department’s Safe Journey Program will be hosting a “Family Safety Fest” on Saturday, Sept. 23, from 10 a..m to 2 p.m. at Point Park in Dayton.
The event is free to attend will feature activities for all ages, sheriff’s department officials said.
The Family Safety Fest will feature, free car seat checks, bounce houses, finger painting, the Rhea County Animal Shelter, boating safety with the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency, gun safety information, games, crafts, snacks and much more.
