The Chamber of Commerce met last night for its annual meeting.
Steve Hartline, Owner of Hartline LLC, which includes radio stations WCLE AM 1570, Talk 101.3 The Buzz, Mix 104.1, and Fiesta 99.1 along with MixTV, was presented with the 2024 Robert W. Varnell Jr. Leadership Award.
Presented in memory of the late Robert W. Varnell Jr., the award recognizes a person demonstrating excellence in leadership and professionalism, commitment to community, religion, high morals, and ethical standards.
Jim Workman, Broker and Co-Owner of Bender Realty, LLC, was presented as the 2024 M.C. Headrick Free Enterprise Award winner.
The M.C. Headrick Free Enterprise Award honors the memory of one of the most outstanding businessmen Cleveland and Bradley County has ever produced, M.C. Headrick. Headrick was a man who believed wholeheartedly in the fundamental concepts of the Free Enterprise System. Honorees receiving this award must display success, high morals, growth of business, and contributions to community-oriented projects.
Also during the meeting, Brittany Katz of Terra Running Company was announced as the new Chairman of the Chamber.
