From NewsChannel 9: A McMinn County woman has been indicted in a 2021 arson at an Etowah gas station, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) says.

They say the fire happened on August 7th, 2021 at the Marathon on Tennessee Avenue in Etowah.

During their investigation, the TBI says they learned the fire was intentionally set by 44-year-old Holly Danielle Lunsford.

On November 21st of last year, the TBI says a McMinn County Grand Jury returned indictments, charging Lunsford with one count of arson, one count of burglary, and one count of vandalism over $250,000.

On January 26th of 2024, the TBI says Etowah Police executed an unrelated traffic stop, identified Lunsford in the vehicle, and arrested her on the outstanding charges.

The TBI says Lunsford was booked into the McMinn County Jail where she is being held on $490,000 bond.
