From News Channel 9: A fight between 2 men in an Ooltewah grocery store turned into a fight among 3 men in its parking lot, with one of the men shot in the leg.

Three people now face charges in the May 27th incident, according to a release from the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO).

This happened at the Trading Post on Pattentown Road.

HCSO’s release says Dalton Hardy and Curtis Randolph had had an ongoing feud. They apparently spotted each other inside the Trading Post, and started fighting.

The fight soon turned violent, according to the release, and spilled out into the parking lot.

At that point, a third man, James Bragg, “arrived and inserted himself into the dispute,” HCSO says. It continues:

Due to Bragg’s involvement and actions, tensions escalated, particularly after he brandished a stick. Curtis Randolph in self-defense, fired a weapon shooting Bragg in his leg. Bragg was transported to a local hospital where he was treated and has since been released. Hardy’s actions also resulted in the damage of a vehicle Randolph was a passenger in.
