From Local 3 News: Chattanooga police say one person was killed in a crash involving a motorcycle in Hixson over the weekend.
It happened on Saturday shortly after 12:30pm in the 5500 block of Highway 153 South in front of Sun Tan City.
Police say the driver of a vehicle turned left in front of an oncoming motorcycle rider when the collision occurred.
Police say the person on the motorcycle died at the scene.
The names of the people involved have not been released.
A CPD spokesperson says the investigation is ongoing and no charges have been filed at this time.
