Cleveland City Schools Press Release:

CHS SENIOR BELLE WHITE ACHIEVES A NEAR-PERFECT SCORE OF 35 ON THE ACT

Belle White, a senior at Cleveland High School, has achieved a near-perfect score of 35 on the ACT. Belle’s achievement is not just impressive because of her high score but also because she is among the select few who have achieved a near-perfect ACT score in the United States.

Belle’s journey toward this achievement began when she moved to Cleveland from Signal Mountain during her freshman year. Adapting to a new environment and making new friends is never easy, but Belle persevered.

“The first couple of years were hard, adjusting to a different environment, but the past of years, I’ve been really thriving here,” Belle said. She initially scored a 32 on her first attempt, but she took the ACT again in the fall and was pleasantly surprised by her score.

“I had my brother open it because I was really nervous. He said I got a 35, and I couldn’t believe it,” Belle said. “I was very, very proud of myself.”

She will be graduating from Cleveland High School in May, and she plans to attend Cleveland State Community College to major in Physics. Her ultimate goal is to transfer to a four-year university. “I’m really excited about my career in the future,” Belle said. “I want to work in the field of physics.”

Belle credits her teachers at Cleveland High School for their unwavering support and guidance.

“Congratulations to Belle on achieving this remarkable accomplishment,” Principal Bob Pritchard said. “Her hard work is an inspiration to us all. We are proud of her achievements and excited to see what the future holds for her.”

Her message to others is to never give up on their dreams. “It’s never too late to start fulfilling your potential as a person,” Belle said.

Belle’s future looks bright. Congratulations, Belle. We are all proud of you!
