From WDEF: Bradley County Sheriff’s Office deputies helped find a runaway 13-year-old from Florida.
The Walton County Sheriff’s Office notified Bradley County authorities of her possible location on Sunday, May 5th.
Later, deputies found the teenager in the front seat of a vehicle at a Love’s Truck Stop on Lower River Road in Charleston.
The sheriff’s office said the juvenile was not tied up or restrained. However, authorities arrested the driver of the vehicle, who they identified as Mario Castro Arzate.
Bradley County authorities said Arzate picked up the teen in Florida and was driving her to New York City.
The sheriff’s office is charging Arzate with kidnapping.
Authorities returned the juvenile to her parents.
