The Michigan Avenue Elementary Chorus sang Christmas Carrols for the Commissioners to kick off the meeting.
Several Commissioners shared their condolences to the family of Frankie McCartney, the Charleston City Council member who passed away this past weekend.
7th District Commissioner Josh Rogers congratulated those involved with the Empty Stocking Fund for raising over $230,000.
