According to the Cleveland Police Department, an altercation on Creek Bend Circle, which occurred on the evening of Friday, Feb. 16, ended in an arrest for aggravated assault.

Upon arrival to the scene, one officer spoke with the victim, who reported three juveniles were exploring a home under construction near 5137 Creek Bend Circle. The situation escalated when Rhiannon Burt, 36, confronted the juveniles, leading to an argument. As the juveniles attempted to leave, Rhiannon allegedly pulled out a pellet gun, fired shots at the ground, hit one of the juveniles in the arm, and upper leg, and destroyed a cell phone.

The victim believed Burt’s pellet gun to be a real firearm, while Burt claimed she fired near the juveniles to “scare them.”

Upon further investigation, the pellet gun was recovered on the scene, resembling a Glock 19 without an orange tip on the barrel.

Burt was taken into custody for 3 counts of Aggravated Assault and 1 count of vandalism. The report stated that Burt has two previous booking records.
