The Cleveland City Council met on Monday covering several items of business.

An agreement was discussed with Waste Connections for bins for every household for garbage and recycling pickup. Waste Connections is beginning a push into automated trash pickup with auto side-loading trucks that, for the most part, eliminates the need for people on the back of the trucks. It is possible this will start on June 1st.

It was also noted that the city now has the keys to the former bank building on Raider Drive. The deed and insurance will be transferred to the school system. The gate will be taken down as soon as possible to allow the use of the parking lot for the school and Greenway activities.
