The Bradley County Commission met on Monday, covering several items of business.
Congratulations were given to the BCHS Bearettes on their State Championship win.
Updates were given on broadband and TDEC grants. For broadband, VEC has signed contracts with the state for new work, first in the Chatata Valley area, with White Oak Valley area being second. There is no current date for the next round of state grants at this time.
Updates were given on the roof project at the Bradley County Sheriff’s Office. A spreadsheet has been received from the sheriff’s office with the two lowest bidders being forwarded to the county attorney. A resolution on this is expected soon.
