From News 12: Rhea County detectives arrested two men last Friday for drug possession.
The detectives conducted a traffic stop in the 8700 block of Rhea County Highway on November 3. Authorities said the car had an expired tag.
The two occupants of the vehicle were Roland Bonds and Eulis Deason, according to Rhea County detectives.
The suspects gave authorities consent to search their car during the traffic stop, the sheriff’s office said.
Detectives said they then found 11 grams of meth, 3 grams of cocaine and 10 grams of marijuana.
Authorities arrested both Bonds and Deason.
Bonds had been out on a $100,000 bond for previous possession of meth, cocaine and marijuana, with a firearm. The sheriff’s office said he is also a convicted felon for the resale of narcotics.
