The Bradley County Sheriff’s Office, in conjunction with the Cleveland Police Department, conducted a Theft and Forgery investigation resulting in the arrest of Jamie Lee Anderson, age 41, of Charleston, TN.

Mr. Anderson had been working at Advantage Logistics Trucking Company in Cleveland for a brief time before the company noticed diminished funds stemming from their Com Data Check Account. At the conclusion of the investigation, detectives were able to determine Anderson had fraudulently issued Com Data Checks to himself more than 90 times. The stolen funds totaled more than $40,000.

Jamie Lee Anderson was indicted by the Bradley County Grand Jury and faces the following criminal charges;

  • Theft over $10,000
  • Forgery

The Bradley County Sheriff’s Office will be conducting sobriety roadside safety checkpoints during the week of March 10th on North Lee Hwy. in Bradley County.

Impaired driving is a serious crime that kills more than 16,000 people and injures 305,000 others every year in the United States. Sheriff’s deputies will evaluate drivers for signs of alcohol or drug impairment. Additionally, they will target those who operate a vehicle while impaired and take corrective actions for other violations observed while ensuring the protection of all motorists.

The Bradley County Sheriff’s Office recognizes that sobriety checkpoints are highly visible and effective tools in the battle against impaired driving.

Last week we told you about three ministry trailers stolen off the Trinity Baptist Church parking lot in Cleveland.

Since the story first aired, one of the trailers has been found, enabling the ministry to continue its good work.

Amy Wilson, Kairos Prison Ministry volunteer says after the story aired, the black educational trailer turned up in a field off of Georgetown Road in Cleveland, just a few days later.

While two additional enclosed trailers are still missing, the nonprofit which aims to help criminals turn their lives around, will continue their weekend program.

If you have any information about the other two enclosed trailers still missing, call Cleveland Police.
