We were joined on Mix Mornings by Travis Adams and Jodi Adams Burch to talk about the legacy of their dad, former Bradley Bear Baseball Coach Joe Adams who passed away over the weekend.

The Bradley Central High School family mourns the loss of one of the greatest coaches ever to set foot on the diamond. The significance of his impact on our students, our program, and our community is impossible to quantify.

Visitation Details:
Funeral services for longtime Bradley Central coach Joe Adams have been announced.
His family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. at First Baptist Church Cleveland on Stuart Road, Monday (Aug. 22), as well as 3-5 p.m. on Tuesday (Aug. 23), with a Celebration of Life Service to follow at 5 p.m.
Adams had a hall of fame career coaching baseball, as well as other sports, at Bradley for 26 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents Coach J.B. “Ace” Adams and Mildred Adams.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of 27 years Brenda Adams; children: Jody Adams, Holly Marion (Earnest), Travis Adams (Elizabeth); siblings: Donna Cagle (Bob), Thomas “Buck” Adams (Larry); stepchildren: Jimmy Gibby (Tiffany), Teresa Lawson, Sonia Jeffries (Gary), and Tonia Peacock (Kevin); grandchildren: William, Thomas, Bradley, Bryson, Madison, McKenzie, Zachary, Hank, Ellen, James, Jack, Sofia, Chandler, Preston, Paige, Gabriella, John, Gunner, and Casey; great-grandchildren: Zane, Juve, Hazel, Benjamin, and Ryder.
