Legendary Bradley Central baseball coach Joe Adams died on Friday evening after a long illness. Adams was on the Bradley Central baseball coaching staff from 1975 until 2001. He served as head coach for 18 years with a 387–1 13 record with two state runner-up finishes. He won 78% of those games including at McMinn County and Tennessee Tech. Joe Adams son Travis is now the head baseball coach at Bradley Central for the past 14 years, he has also survived by daughter Jody who played for Pat Summitt at UT and is now the head women’s basketball coach at New Mexico State University, as well as daughter Holly. Arrangements have yet to be announced.
