Nominations open for Bedwell Small Businessperson of the Year

From the Cleveland/Bradley County Chamber of Commerce: Nominations are now open for the 30th annual Mel Bedwell Small Businessperson of the Year. 

 

Nominees for the award should be leaders of a small business displaying growth in number of employees, increase in sales or volume, innovativeness of the product or service offered, thoughtful response to adversity, evidence of contributions by the nominee to aid community-oriented projects and must have been in business at least three years.

 

In 2022, Brittany Katz, Owner and Operator of Terra Running Co. and Cleveland Coffee & Market, was honored as the recipient of the prestigious award.

 

The 2023 Mel Bedwell Small Businessperson of the Year Award will be presented during an awards luncheon in May, which is Small Business Month.

 

Nomination forms must be submitted to the Chamber by April 6, 2023, to the Chamber. Forms can be obtained by clicking “Downloadable Forms” in the menu at ClevelandChamber.com.
