From the Chattanoogan: Entries are now being accepted for the MainStreet Cleveland Christmas Parade set for Saturday, Dec. 2 beginning at 6 p.m.

The downtown Christmas parade is one of Cleveland’s longest running and most anticipated holiday traditions, with many beautiful floats and thousands of twinkling lights.  This hometown event spreads plenty of Christmas cheer over its three-mile route, officials said.

The deadline for parade entries to be turned in to the MainStreet office is Friday, Nov.

 

17 at 4 p.m.  After this date, a late fee will be applied.  The final date to turn in applications is noon on Tuesday, Nov. 28.

Departing from Bradley Central High School, the parade will travel north on Highway 11, east on 3rd Street, north on Ocoee Street, around the monument, south on Broad Street, west on Inman Street, south on Highway 11 and then back to the high school.
