The family of Olivia Weatherford, the 9-year-old who captured the heart of our community with her courageous fight against cancer, has released her funeral arrangements.
The community is invited to attend a visitation with the family from noon- 5 PM at First Baptist Church on Saturday, September 16th. A celebration of life service will follow the visitation at 5 PM. She will be laid to rest on Sunday, September 17th at Hiwassee Memorial Gardens at 3 p.m. and a funeral procession will leave from First Baptist Church at 2:30 p.m.
To honor Olivia’s memory, those attending are welcome to wear their Liv shirts or a gold ribbon to honor Pediatric Cancer Month. For those unable to attend, WCLE will stream Olivia’s funeral service on mix TV.tv
