From the Cleveland Daily Banner…

Tim Siniard reports: Cleveland is rated as one of the least expensive cities to live in America, according to a report published in Business Insider.

The information, obtained from data compiled by the United States Department of Commerce’s Bureau of Economic Analysis,  is based on the estimated relative cost of living in U.S. metropolitan and rural areas in 2017.

The majority of the low-cost metropolitan areas are located in the South and Midwest, according to BI.

The report showed Cleveland’s cost of living is 16.9% lower than the national average.

Cleveland Mayor Kevin Brooks said the city’s low cost of living rating listed in Business Insider was indicative of the increased attention Cleveland is receiving as a place to live, work and prosper.

These studies are in regards to the solids handling system, blower system and alternative disinfection. Anticipated cost of the studies is $92,000, and the work has just begun.

At the Cleveland Filter Plant, flocculation/sedimentation basin improvements have been completed, and improvement for the heating and air system is planned.

Mullinax also reported there are a number of development projects being addressed by engineering for water distribution.
