From NewsChannel 9: One person is in the hospital after being shot in East Ridge.
That’s according to the East Ridge Police Department (ERPD).
ERPD says dispatch received a call around 5:30 Tuesday afternoon about gun shots near an apartment complex on Roper Street.
While en route to the scene, officers say they received another call from someone who said the person shot was already on their way to Parkridge East Hospital in a private vehicle.
