Cleveland Utilities will be closing a small section of Keith Street beginning tonight at 9 p.m. until tomorrow morning at 6 a.m., for the installation of new traffic signal infrastructure.
All northbound Keith Street traffic will be detoured onto North Ocoee Street and Old North Ocoee Street. Detoured traffic will rejoin Keith Street at the signalized intersection that accesses Walmart. Detour signs will be posted.
The southbound Keith Street ramp to Ocoee Street will also be closed. Vehicles needing Southbound access to Ocoee Street can access Ocoee Street via Mouse Creek Road or via Ocoee Crossing.

The man accused of starting a riot at Hamilton Place Mall in February is now wanted by police again.
Chattanooga police say 18-year-old David Ballard was trespassing at Emma Wheeler Homes last Wednesday, April 25.
When they talked with him, Ballard got out of his car and ran. Police say they found a fully loaded gun and ammunition under his passenger seat.
Chattanooga Police say Ballard took to Facebook to let everyone know he owned the gun, ran from police, and cut off his ankle monitor.
Ballard is now wanted on the following charges:
- Unlawful possession of a firearm
- Possession of a firearm with intent to go armed
- Evading arrest
- Criminal trespassing
- Resisting arrest
Police say Ballard pulled out a gun at Hamilton Place Mall in February, sending shoppers into a panic. He took a plea deal, and was given 2 years of probation last month. Ballard was banned from Hamilton Place Mall.

A cybersecurity firm is investigating an attack that disabled a Tennessee county’s election website.
Knox County information and technology senior director Richard Moran says someone “with malicious intent” crashed a website reporting results after polls closed Tuesday in a primary election.
Moran said no voting data was affected. But the site was down for an hour before technicians fixed the “denial of service” problem. Moran said some of the unusually heavy traffic came from overseas servers, but that doesn’t mean that the attacker was in a foreign country.

The Polk County Friends of the Library are gearing up for their largest-ever Used Book Sale this Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the West Polk Public Library in downtown Benton.
The group has recently doubled the size of available sale space over previous years.
Hardback books will be on sale for $2 and better-quality paperbacks will be sold for $1. Other special deals will be available, including boxes filled with 30-40 paperbacks selling for $5 per box. Hardback fiction books have been alphabetized by the author’s last name to make it easier for browsers to find books by their favorite authors. Nonfiction books have been grouped by category, such as cookbooks, history, pets, crafts, home and garden, etc.
All proceeds from the book sale will benefit the Polk County Public Library system. The Friends of the Library provide funding to support library programs and services as well as purchase new books and materials for the libraries.
