From NewsChannel 9: First responders transported a driver to the hospital Saturday evening after a semitruck ran off the interstate and into the woods.
According to the Chattanooga Fire Department (CFD), firefighters and members of the department’s Special Operations Division responded to the wreck on Interstate 75 Southbound between the Ooltewah and Volkswagen exit.
Firefighters had to cut the driver out of the semitruck, according to a post on Facebook.
That driver was then transported by Hamilton County EMS to a local hospital.
Right now the driver’s condition is not known.
It is also unclear what might have lead to the wreck.
