Cleveland neighborhoods lose water Wednesday after water main struck

Around noon on Wednesday, Cleveland Utilities reported contractors had hit a water main on Georgetown Road, interrupting water service to several neighborhoods from Paul Huff Parkway to Villa Drive Northwest.

By 4:45 p.m., Cleveland Utilities reported crews were in the process of turning water service back on to the affected neighborhoods after repairs to the main had been completed.

Customers may experience air in the lines when first using water, and are recommended to let the water run for several minutes at outside and inside faucets to let the air clear from the lines.
