Cleveland City Schools has decided to implement an abbreviated day on Monday, April 8th due to the solar eclipse.
CHS/CMS will dismiss at 10:30 a.m. All Cleveland City elementary schools will dismiss at 11:30 a.m.
There will be no practices or after-school activities scheduled between 1 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.
Bradley County Schools also announced on March 6th that they will have an abbreviated day on April 8th. In the county, elementary schools will dismiss at 11:00 a.m., and secondary schools will dismiss at 11:30 a.m.
