On Friday morning, the City of Copperhill Utility Employees discovered that their water tanks were losing a large amount of water due to an unknown leak. Since then, the City of Copperhill’s Facebook page has published several posts, asking residents to conserve water and to be on the lookout for any major water leaks.

Then on Sunday night, the City Of Copperhill’s Facebook page notified residents that they would be shutting off water to most of the area.
If you see an area that appears to have standing water or ice please contact the City Of Copperhill City Clerk at (423) 496-5141.

“Due to all of the water leaks most of the Copperhill area will be without water for tonight and most likely most of the day tomorrow January 22nd
This will effect downtown businesses as well as a majority of residents
We apologize for this inconvenience and are actively trying to locate all the leaks.”
