The Bradley County Commission met yesterday for a work session.
7th District Commissioner Bill Winters reported that the Legal and Legislative Committee met and discussed placing ‘For Sale’ signs on the site of any property offered for sale by the county in addition to already required legal notices. The resolution has been placed on the February 20th voting agenda.
3rd District Commissioner Milan Blake presented a resolution for Bradley County to join with other local county governments to contribute to the current reward for the information leading to the arrest of Kenneth DeHart, the Tennessee fugitive accused of killing a Blount County deputy and injuring another this past weekend. The resolution was placed on the February 20th voting session to donate $5,000 to the reward.
