From the Chattanooga Times Free Press: Marcus Goree Jr., a top defensive back at Bradley Central High School, has publicly committed to the University of Tennessee, choosing the Volunteers over other offers from prestigious programs such as Colorado, Michigan, Michigan State, and Nebraska.
Although Goree said he was impressed with his visit to the University of Colorado, he ultimately preferred to play close to home so that his family could come watch him play.
Goree is ranked as the No. 9 junior prospect in the state and had received scholarship offers from more than 20 Football Bowl Subdivision programs. He is the fourth player to commit to the Vols for the 2024 class.
