Authorities have identified the victim of Sunday morning’s deadly shooting at a residence on Bates Pike SE as Jesse Johnson, age 39.
Reports indicate the shooting was the result of an altercation between Matthew L. Wolfcale, age 25, and Mr. Johnson. During the altercation, Wolfcale produced a firearm and shot Johnson.
Mr. Wolfcale, remains in custody in the Bradley County Jail on second-degree murder charges.
