From News 12: Three people in Bradley County are facing charges for second-degree murder, relating to a fentanyl overdose.

 

According to the Bradley County Sheriff’s Office, Dustin Cox died of an overdose on February 24.

 

Authorities say they have since been investigating his death.

 

 

A Bradley County Grand Jury indicted three individuals on May 24.

 

Police said all three were arraigned this week and are being held at the Bradley County Jail without bond.

 

Those three are Jonathan Hilliard, Brandon Pelfrey and Autumn Johnson.

 

Hilliard is facing charges including second-degree murder, possession of schedule 2 narcotics and possession of a firearm while committing a felony.

 

Pelfrey faces charges of second-degree murder and possession of schedule 2 narcotics.

 

The investigation is a joint effort of the Bradley County Sheriff’s Office and the 10th Judicial District Drug Task Force.
