From NewsChannel 9: A school custodian overdosed at the PIE Innovation Center in Bradley County late Wednesday night, according to the sheriff’s office.

The Bradley County Sheriff’s Office responded to the call at 9:51 p.m., several hours after the center had officially closed.

When deputies arrived, BCSO says they found a woman outside of the center sitting in the passenger side of a vehicle.

CPR as well as Narcan was administered to the patient, BCSO says.

They say she was transported to Tennova Hospital. No charges were filed.

BCSO confirms she was an ABM employee, contracted through the Bradley County School system to do custodial work.

We have reached out to the school system for comment and are waiting to hear back.
