The first round of the TSSAA high school football playoffs concluded Friday night with two teams, Bradley Central and Walker Valley, emerging victorious. As we move into the second round, the excitement is building up. Here are some of the matchups to look forward to:
- In Class 6A, Maryville will be facing off against Bradley Central at BCHS. The game will be covered by Talk 101.3 FM the Buzz and is scheduled to kick off at 7 p.m. on Friday.
- In Class 5A, Lenoir City will be taking on Walker Valley. The game will be broadcast on 99.1 FM and promises to be an exciting clash.
- McMinn Central will be traveling to Giles Co in Class 3A.
- Red Bank will be hosting Macon Co in Class 4A.
- In Division 2AAA, Brentwood will be facing off against McCallie, while Christian Brothers will be taking on Baylor.
