From NewsChannel 9: A dead three-month-old boy and six other children of various ages up to 16-months-old were found with no adult at their caregiver’s apartment in West Nashville Monday afternoon, say police.

The daycare provider, 51-year-old Anne C. Jordan, was not with the children when the seven children were found by the three-month-old boy’s mother and another parent, says Metro.

The six children were taken to Vanderbilt, where doctors reported they were in good health, according to MNPD.

Hikers later found Jordan with injuries in Harpeth River State Park Monday evening. Her car was also found at the park, say police.

Her injuries included what police say appeared to be “significant” and “self-inflicted” wounds.

Jordan is currently at a Nashville hospital where police are making efforts to question her, say detectives.

This is an ongoing investigation.
