The administration and football program at Bradley Central high school. Will retire the number 30 jersey football Jersey of Louie Alford Thursday night at halftime of the Bradley/Bearden game at Bear stadium. Alford graduated from Bradley Central in 1960, played football and baseball along with basketball in high school, and then played football and baseball at MTSU.
Alford was an assistant football coach at both Bradley and Cleveland and twice a head coach at Bradley. He retired in 2003 was elected to the Bradley County commercial in 2006, and continues to serve there today.
Walker Valley high school announced openings for head coaches of the volleyball and tennis programs. Aubrey Reagan. was the coach of the volleyball team, Jordan Wilcut of the tennis program. Both positions are posted online according to the Bradley County Schools system.
