From the Cleveland Daily Banner: Proposed changes and improvements for Michigan Avenue Road/Dry Valley Road could include a new connector from those roads to U.S. Highway 11.

 

The Cleveland Urban Area Metropolitan Planning Organization heard a report about the project at its meeting this week, outlined by the city’s transportation planner, C. Seth Sumner. The project analysis is being conducted by Stantec.

 

Sumner stressed this is just planning for changes to Michigan Avenue Road and Dry Valley Road, and also wanted to credit former MPO director Greg Thomas for his work on the project.

 

“We began with listening sessions, a public symposium, and then analyzing the data, then followed with a public open house that was in May,” Sumner said. “This report is based on all of these steps.
