The District Attorney, Tenth Judicial District, and the Harbor Safe House & Advocacy Center invite you to join us as we take an evening walk to remember and honor past victims of domestic violence, and walk with intent toward a better future full of hope.
We’re recruiting teams, walkers, contributors, and sponsors. 100% of the proceeds go directly toward our efforts to provide a safe place and high-quality services for victims/survivors and their families, helping them gain access to and utilize the tools needed to empower them to move forward in their lives.
Meet us at 6 pm at Bradley High School in the back at the small track next to the tennis courts. We will have special guest speakers, a choir performance, glow sticks, and more!
We will take a special moment to honor Melisha Gibson, a 4-year-old girl from Cleveland, TN who lost her life in October 1976 to abuse that had been ongoing since she was 10 months old. Her death shocked the nation and ultimately reshaped laws surrounding child abuse.
