Lee University’s 2022 Homecoming celebration will begin this Friday, Nov. 4, and continue through Saturday, Nov. 5.
To open Homecoming, the 1918 Society will host its first annual golf tournament at the Cleveland Country Club. Range and registration will open at 8:30 a.m. on Friday. The tournament will be a four-person scramble with a 10 a.m. shotgun start. All proceeds will go toward Lee’s Alumni Fund.
This year, Lee will present a new event, “Traditions of Lee: 60 Years of Music & Campus Life,” on Friday at 7:30 p.m. in Pangle Hall. The event will feature performances by Voices of Lee, Ladies of Lee, Lee Singers, Jazz Band, along with appearances with former and current Parade of Favorites contestants.
Lee Athletics will host the Flames Alumni Brunch for all former athletes on Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Ray Conn Sports Complex.
After the brunch, the Homecoming Parade will take place at 11:15 a.m. on the Pedestrian Mall. Both women’s and men’s basketball teams will play directly following the parade, at 12 and 2 p.m., respectively.
