Lee University’s Alpha Gamma Chi, a men’s social service club, will attempt to break the world record for the longest softball game while raising money for Youth World Evangelism Action 2024 (YWEA24).

The game will start on Wednesday, Oct. 11, at 7 p.m. and end on Monday, Oct. 16, at 7 p.m., comprising 120 hours of play and attempting to break the record by five hours.

“The club’s heart behind this is what we’re doing it for,” said Micah Grow, Chi’s alumni coordinator. “We’re excited to participate in the club’s legacy and one of Lee’s traditions, but ultimately, we’re doing this to reach young people in Oceania in partnership with the Church of God.”
