Bradley County Sheriff Steve Lawson and his wife Connie were in their personal vehicle Sunday after church sitting in traffic on I-75 South in Chattanooga when their vehicle was struck from behind.
Sheriff Lawson was transported by ambulance to Erlanger Hospital where he continues to receive treatment for his injuries. The family says they want to thank the first responders, the Erlanger medical staff, along with everyone for their thoughts and prayers.
Last night, Connie Lawson also said in a social post,
“I ask for you to lift him up in your prayers. I have no doubt that while there were only 2 people in our truck, God was riding in that vehicle.”
